The dream team Tom & Melinda all wrapped up in each other and singing their hearts out for you.

Australian stars Tom Burlinson and Melinda Schneider accompanied by the Young at Heart Orchestra will join forces this June, performing a concert celebration of the iconic hits of Frank Sinatra and Doris Day.

Young at Heart is inspired by the hugely successful collaboration of two of Hollywood’s biggest stars who took the world by storm in 1955 with the box-office hit movie Young at Heart, and a top-selling soundtrack album of the same name.

A determination to faithfully recreate the lush orchestral arrangements of that era has seen some of Australia’s very best musicians brought together under the stewardship of musical director Michael Harding to form the Young at Heart Orchestra who will perform with Tom and Melinda.

Audiences can look forward to hearing Tom presenting some of the all-time Sinatra greats, Melinda delivering the hits of Doris Day and the two of them coming together for a selection of breathtaking duets.

Reminisce with such memorable tunes as Secret Love, New York New York, Que Sera Sera, Come Fly With Me, Shakin’ The Blues, Mack The Knife, Perhaps Perhaps Perhaps, and of course, Young at Heart.

Don’t miss this nostalgic evening of song and music celebrating two of the greatest music legends of our time.

Young at Heart, a wonderful trip down memory lane for audiences to cherish!

The Stars

Tom Burlinson

Tom is famous for his starring roles in the classic Australian movies The Man from Snowy River and Phar Lap, as well as his numerous TV appearances over the years. But in 1991 Tom was chosen by Tina Sinatra to sing the voice of her father in the Golden Globe Award-winning mini series Sinatra. This led to a whole new musical development in his career. He created his own show in celebration of the great man, Frank- A Life in Song, which became hugely successful all around Australia, and also travelled to Toronto, Canada.

The great entrepreneur Steve Wynn invited Tom to perform at his Wynn Las Vegas resort in 2007.

Later came the national tour of Now We’re Swingin’!, in which Tom paid homage not only to Sinatra, but also to some of the other great stars of vocal swing - Nat ‘King’ Cole, Dean Martin, Tony Bennett, Sammy Davis Jnr, and Bobby Darin as well as Harry Connick Jnr and Michael Buble. Tom also toured around the country with a smaller musical ensemble performing Simply Sinatra.

Tom Burlinson has proven that he is one of the best in the world at Sinatra-inspired singing. He is renowned for his smooth style and astonishing performance skills. Don’t miss this wonderful new show as Tom will once again do justice to the marvellous musical legacy of the Chairman of the Board, Frank Sinatra.
